Important
Notice
Due to fluctuating steel prices, we have
to be more selective in our choice of steel supplier, We therefore offer
steel from various worldwide suppliers.
This allows us remain competitive,
whilst still offering quality products. Should you need a particular brand of
colour coated steel, you will need to make us aware of the fact, at the
quotation stage.
Substantial surcharges may be
applied to branded products.
Two branded products we can offer
are shown below.
HPS200 (Scintilla) by Corus
HPS200 is organic coated steel for roof and wall cladding. The exclusively
developed coating has been formulated for superior durability and retention
of hue and gloss. It features the unique Scintilla finish on the weather side
and a high performance backing coat as standard on the reverse side.
Its Galvalloy substrate is hot-dip 95% zinc-5% aluminium
eutectic alloy coated steel to BS EN 10214:1995, offering enhanced cut-edge
protection and flexibility. Which is why it’s unique. Because only
Corus offer Galvalloy substrate, where there is no need to paint over the cut
edges. Guaranteed !!.
DOBEL 200 EXTERIOR PLASTISOL
FOR ROOF AND WALL CLADDING
Swedish steel has been renowned for its quality since the earliest times and
this reputation continues today on cars avionics and household goods. Names
like Volvo, Saab and Electrolux are the epitome of Swedish design and
quality. And at the forefront of coated steel technology is DOBEL.
DOBEL produces Plastisol for roof and wall cladding to withstand much harsher
conditions than would normally be found in the U.K. Swedish winters are
colder, summers are as hot and precipitation higher, and in addition, Swedish
Plastisol for Roof and wall clladding has to cope with windblown industrial
pollution from the rest of Europe.
Most people now agree... if it's good enough to withstand the Swedish
climate, then it must be good enough for ours.
Forty years life expectancy!! The Swedes have always expected the sheet life
of Plastisol to last as long as this... with proper maintenance of course!
SILICONE POLYESTER
Silicone polyester was developed to provide a economical roof and wall
cladding solution, with medium term life for worldwide use. In temperate
environments the period to first maintenance is five to seven years. With
regular attention the life of the cladding can be extended considerably
beyond this. Care should be exercised with silicone polyester in its use near
the sea or in hot, humid environments.
LINING ENAMEL
Lining enamel as been specially developed for use as an internal wall or roof
lining in doubled skinned construction and insulated panels. Lining trays /
panels manufactured from lining enamel offer an economical alternative to
other methods of internal lining. The durability and strength of pre-finished
steel easily matches the performance of alternatives.
The colour is "bright-white" which provides optimum light
reflectivity with a hard, smooth and easily cleaned surface.
