Insulation Systems

Insulated Composite Roof and Wall Cladding, Built Up Insulated Roof and Wall Cladding Systems.

A through-fixed, insulated composite roof and wall cladding panel available in a variety of finishes for buildings requiring high performance roof and wall cladding solutions.

Offering combined strength and rigidity with high performance. HCFC free insulation cores produce a innovative composite insulated roof and wall cladding product offering excellent value, assured thermal performance and long-term durability in almost every conceivable application.

The intergrity of the composite construction is demonstrated by the product’s compliance with the stringent requirements of CDM, HSE Fragility Tests and Part L amendments, providing safety and performance by design.

Substantial cost benefits are derived from the products’s speed of installation, spanning capabilities that optimise structural steel design and the life cycle performance of a product designed to meet ever more stringent building performance standards.

  • HCFC free insulation cores
  • Eliminates cold bridging
  • 100% reliable thermal performance
  • LPCB Insurance Approved

LINER PANEL BUILT UP INSULATION SYSTEM
Many specifiers recommend a liner panel built up insulation system for complete thermal efficiency. The insulant can be non-rigid such as universal wool, fibreglass or rigid plastic formed boards and is sandwiched in the cavity between the top sheet and liner panel.

The cavity in the built up insulation system is created with a mini zed purlin as shown in the diagram or a grid bar system. In cases of high humidity a vapour barrier and breather membrane may be required. These are not shown in this example to allow clarity.

For many years a .4 gauge liner in a shallow profile, has been used with the built up insulation system.  We are now able to offer a .7 liner panel in a deeper profile to match the same profile as the outer sheet. This has proved to be popular with experienced contractors.

LINER BOARD INSULATION SYSTEM

This system is no longer available from North West Sheeting Supplies due to the difficulty in sourcing the insulation boards.

Since the arrival and popularity of composite systems and new insulation regulations, sadly this system has lost the appeal it once held for ease of use and cost effectiveness.

  • Liner boards have built in vapour barrier on both surfaces of the board
  • Liner Boards are light, durable and easy to cut
  • Liner boards achieve the required insulation values
  • Attactive White lacquered embossed aluminium foil finish.
